Moving through the brush was a figure cloaked in dirty cloth. Twigs and grass stuck to the hooded pancho as to further conceal him from his prey. Every movement was carefully considered, he would not wish to be detected; laying in the grass he set up his rifle. Target acquired, the weak visor showed a flickering marker where the thing was, where it moved. This visual aid was enough, as he let his finger rest on the trigger. A deep breath, then released, one shot and his prey collapsed. Leaping to his feet and bounding over he looked over the corpse.
The man who'd been skulking around his camps was dead, good; he searched over the man, hm strange things for a Junker. A passport, from Africa? Not a native then, would explain the very dark skintone. Searching through the rest of the belongings, there was some kind of dart gun, and ammunition for it. He stashed it in his bag over his shoulder. He didn't like to be in the open like this so long. The wildman stripped the corpse of his stalker and tossed them over his shoulder. He needed to get more information.
Ansell coughed. "...why were you hunting me?" he grumbled very softly to himself. He stood to a low stoop, and took a quick jog towards the Junker settlements. Someone had to know why people from Numbani were in the outback. Why those same people were stalking him. Rifle hooked over his shoulders. Also he could sell off these rather nice clothes that would never fit him. Possibly get some new ones for himself. Or at least a new box of scrap.
