Personality: Genji is a rather mysterious person after his resurrection. He tends to keep mostly to himself, does not say much, but when he speaks he speaks with wisdom. It can be unnerving to some as he seems to be the perfect storm of calm and deadly when he is in his element. But he is truly at peace with himself and the world around him- like Zenyatta, his mentor, he has accepted himself and found a more spiritual side. He has a rather care free attitude, as if he has found some sort of higher calling and has found something beyond the basic principles of humanity. Surprisingly, Genji also maintains an odd sense of humor that one would not expect him to have.

Back Story: Genji was the heir of the Shimada clan, a small Ninja clan in Hanamura. Growing up he was a rather carefree and relaxed person, perhaps too much so. He was an excellent Ninja but when it was clear that he could not take anything seriously. Many in the Shimada clan despised their father for sheltering him and when their father passed Hanzo confronted Genji about it. Demanding he take a larger role in the clans dealings, Genji refused, and thus the two brothers found. Genji would fall by Hanzo's blade and would be left for dead. Yet his body was recovered and he was saved by the Overwatch Agent known as codename: Mercy. At first Genji would reject his new form but over time and with Zenyatta's persistence in trying to teach him he would accept it. Now Genji seeks to find a new purpose and redemption for Hanzo even if he cannot forgive himself.

Abilities: 

Reflection - With higher reflexes comes the benefit of being able to predict flight paths. Genji has the ability to deflect solid projectiles with his tanto and redirect them back at the opponent.

Swift Strike - The exo suit enhances all of Genji's traits, including his speed, and thus allows him to quickly close the gap with his foe. While dashing forward he draws his blade and makes a cut while passing through.

Dragonblade - This deadly move is his ace in the hole and is not often used. Drawing this katana summons the Dragon of the West Wind's spirit and allows him to make several rapid yet deadly cuts to his opponents body.

Weapon(s): A Tanto on his lower back, a large katana sheathed upon his back and a gauntlet that houses shuriken that automatically reload themselves.
