Scorch ever since his re-activation from Talon has wanted revenge on those that made the Omnics loose the Omnic Crisis, especially the original six of the first Overwatch Strike Team, especially the original leader who made the plan to take down the Detriot Omnium, Gabriel Reyes, while the omnic had heard the ex-strike commander had died during the Swiss Headquarters incident that put the final bullet into Overwatch's seemingly dead body, the omnic and witness the man in combat and knew a simple explosion wouldn't kill the ex-strike commander, he has his suspicions about the mercenary Talon used to hire to do jobs constantly, Reaper, and his past identity, Scorch wants to see if he can confirm those suspicions, and if they're correct, hopefully get some well deserved revenge.
