Personality: Talon designed her to be the perfect killing machine, emotionless and meticulous. The only thing that typically brings her joy is the thrill of a challenging kill, another part of her reprogramming. Her understanding of sympathy and compassion have been completely wiped and in their place Talon left nothing, which may still bite them in the end. While their programming began perfect, in the years since it happened the programming has started to fade. In the past year or so, Amelie has begun to feel remorse and guilt, and more so, sadness. She frequently finds herself at Gerard's grave, unsure what to make of the tears she can't control or the tight feeling in her stomach. Typically, she just shakes it off and leaves, moving out to find her next target.
Back Story:Amelie Lacroix was just another talent pulled into Overwatch. She was young when she met Gerard but they both were head over heels for each other rather quickly and were married not too long after meeting, a decision made due to the potential risk from their line of work. While Gerard was often in the field, Amelie stayed back at base mostly, until Ana offered to teach her to shoot. The young French dancer took quickly to the rifle and was soon in the field as both a spotter and sniper, depending on the mission. It was on a mission when Talon captured her, she didn't even get a chance to react and just disappeared. The team was on edge and Gerard was a wreck, which is why he dropped his guard so easily when she stumbled into the base, quite unharmed. He didn't even wake up in the night when she slit his throat with her engagement ring. In the morning they found his body and the ring, but no sign of Amelie or her rifle.

It wasn't too long after that that Widowmaker began to operate, though Overwatch didn't find out about the mysterious assassin until they encountered her first hand on a routine mission that nearly cost Ana her life. From there, her missions continued on very similarly, though now the old members of Overwatch knew that the nearly unrecognizable woman hunting them was once their friend and teammate. 


Weapon(s): 

Widow's Kiss-A custom made hybrid sniper and assault rifle that's capable of switching it's method with a quick button push. When condensed, it's an automatic assault rifle but when extended, it's a powerful semi-automatic sniper rifle that, with time to charge, is capable of piercing even the strongest armor.

Grappling Hook-A useful tool that is attached to both of her wrists, and can be launched with a simple flick and a claw allows it to latch onto almost any surface, giving her the ability to swing around roof tops and any terrain.

Venom Mine-A small device capable of latching onto most flat surfaces and capable of detecting motion, when detonated it releases a cloud of a specially designed nerve gas that has a paralytic effect on those exposed to it.

Infra-Sight- Widowmaker's visor can cover her eyes, giving her a wide variety of special viewing modes, including thermal, ifra-red, and x-ray.
