Reunioin [Gunter]

It took a couple minutes for Gunter to notice in the corner of his eye that someone was standing in the garage’s doorway. No one ever really visits this junkyard anymore since it’s pretty much private property. Whoever this person was, he’s going to let them know that this they’re trespassing and should leave. Gunter didn’t say a word but looked back at the person with a straight facial expression not happy nor mad. His hands move out from inside the car and grabs the rag from his back pocket to whip off his hands from how dirty they are from working.

Gunter moves away from the front of the car and stands the side of the vehicle which gave a couple feet between them. “You know, this is private property. It said so on the billboard at the front entra-” he cuts off from making eye contact with Sarah and finally noticing her which did surprises him. “I haven’t seen you a while, Sarah. What are you here for? A reunion?” he chuckles at the answer he made while still whipping his hands to get the grease off.

The stereo gets turn down from the remote control that Fury is holding so he can they can talk normal without speaking over the loud music. Gunter frowns a bit remembering the downfall of Overwatch. It was a hard time to come to reality that the be loving family of allies he worked with had to split up and go on their separate ways. At that time, Fury didn't think he'll ever see them again. After reflecting of his feelings of disbanding, he comes back to reality noticing that Sarah is awed at the old clean muscle car. "I own this ride, it's actually my first completed car project. I got more in the back I was about to get working on." he replied at Sarah while his right side is leaning against the front of the car while Sarah is distracted from the appearance of the vehicle

"Well it helps me to get my mind off from what happened to each other." he explains while smiling fondly. "At least out here in the bayou, I can get away from all the drama and mayhem that the world offers." he continued and finishes wiping the grease off his hands which looks cleaner now then before but still, parts of his hands are blacken. The white rag was now dirtier then before and Gunter puts it back in the pocket it came from. "So, what have you been up to after us separating?" he questioned with curiosity on his face.

"Yep, most of the parts was replace with some scraps due to that it's hard to find certain things nowadays." he answers with confidence across his face. "It's my daily drive now, I take her out and the people just love the car. Many of them have the looks on their faces that they haven't seen an old car like this before. I mean, people are still used to seeing cars that have wheels since we can't really afford much on those fancy hover transportation vehicles because of how the economy in the south was devastated from the war." he said while following Sarah around the car as she keeps examining it. When Sarah's face fell in little frown, so did Gunter getting the idea that something was concerning her.

After the serious remarks that Sarah told him, disbelief is across his face about the facts she pronounced about himself. "Listen, times have changed since then and I mean majorly. I been told I can't go around anymore and just be my loud self like I use to be. Hell, I want to be like that again but these damn governments want to restrict us as if were like a bunch of rambunctious dumb teenagers!" he said in frustration and begins to walk up to her which they weren't far apart from each other as before. Gunter stands in front of her and grasps her hands gently and with calmness that Gunter obtains. "The reason why I haven't been apart of y'all yet is because I never knew that we will have a day like this again. I figured from that point on we would be replaced by something more newer than us." he said then silence fell upon them. A sigh came from Gunter's mouth before he speaks again.

"I want to join you guys but I have one more question, how many of y'all are there now?" he questioned while hoping for a convincing answer.

Gunter rubs his chin having a his stance in a curious position. To be honest, he hasn't really heard much news what's been happening around the world. Could it really gone to hell since the devastating Omnic Crisis? Are People much desperate in this time when we were post to be at peace? The more Gunter thinks about it, the more interest he gets about coming back. Sarah and him stands there in another silent minute while he's debating with himself. Her attitude that she gives to Gunter as if the answer should be a good one. His fingers runs threw his hair while still contemplating about the whole situation. The encouraging fact she gave him is that there were a lot of agents rejoining to make a stand. What about the agents such as Mercy, Reinhardt, Torbjörn, and other famous agents that made the image of Overwatch? Do they still exist?

He never thought that they wouldn't join forces again after that tragic incident at the HQ in Switzerland. Finally, he gotten enough encouragement to give a proper answer to Sarah. "If these times have gotten worse than before, your damn right I'll be coming back." he said in confidence having his signature smirk.

When Sarah showed her tablet, he had forgotten about the device that he was given to after when he joined Overwatch. "To be honest, I forgot about that tablet that they gave to us. I still need to find my equipment too which I haven't used it in a long time." he stated about his Overwatch gear. Gunter turns away from Sarah and walks fast to the door that leads inside his home. The place wasn't really a pigsty but did have some stuff scattered around like books and misc items but no garbage. He goes through his home to uncover the equipment he had somewhere. His Living room is the first place he searches but no luck finding his gear. Next is the kitchen which becomes a place he didn’t hide any clues at.

Moving on, he tries the closets around his house but they were filled with items that have no help. Lastly is the bedroom and after going through his bedroom quickly, he finally finds the gear that is tuck away in secret place he forgotten years about. The hidden storage was hidden in a trap door that was covered from a mat. Gunter hefts the big rectangle green ammunition box out of the floor. A loud slam is made when he lets go the box that lands on the floor. Blowing is made from his mouth to clean the dust off the top of the crate.

It’s padded lock but Gunter had a ring of keys in his pocket to try out. Two minutes passed by while trying each key. Eventually, one clicks in and unlocks the box filled with weapons, his old combat clothing, and the tablet. He digs threw the stuff and grabs the tablet. The battery life on it is saved from being shut down. He presses a button that turns on the device that made screen show the Overwatch signature glowing. A recall request pops up on his tablet saying “Would you like to accept the recall? Accept or Deny.” Of course, Gunter presses accept with the tablet greeting him. “Welcome back agent.”
