Mido had missed going to lunch with his mother, with both of their lives and everything going on recently, these afternoons had been forced to take a backseat, but life had offered a modicum of calm recently, and they'd both decided they were long overdue for one of their sit down and chat sessions. He'd missed it just being the two of them, it had been a while since he'd gotten her to himself, especially with his sister's reappearance, and he wanted to take advantage of the time she'd set aside for the two of them.
By now it was second nature and normal to him, choosing to wear a dress instead of a suit or something more 'masculine', Jessica had boosted his confidence enough that going out like this was no longer weird or embarrassing. And since he'd started doing it on the regular, he'd noticed that no one really did say anything, he supposed it was mostly because he, in his own opinion, passed off pretty well as a woman. Albeit an extremely tall one, but he had the face for it, Jess had convinced him of that as well.
Because of the normality of it, he didn't even consider that his mother had never seen or found out about his cross-dressing as of yet, it was always a secret that he kept under lock and key, especially after the confrontation with his sister that convinced him that he was somehow wrong for it.
He'd decided that since it was a nice, warm, sunny day, a flowing sundress was the perfect thing to wear. It was bright, but still very warm colored the way all of his clothes were, with accents of blue that mated his eyes, and the make up around them that glowed on his darker skin, the look was completed with a complimenting sunhat and sandals to match. he thought he looked amazing, and so didn't even consider the shock this might bring to his hapless mother as he slipped into the cafe, looking around to see if she'd arrived already.
