Double the Trouble [Ada]

He hadn't meant to become separated, but of course that always tended to happen when there were too many things going on and not enough attention span to keep up with them. So he was looking through the crowd for something different, cursing his shorter stature at times like this which greatly put him at a disadvantage. He knew his twin would be easy enough to spot in the crowd, a tall blur of colors, she really couldn't be missed in a crowd.

Of course, with so many colorful things around them, he stood out more in a way here, with his astounding lack of color through his attire, the heat had forced him to be more 'summer goth' and leave the long loose coat he liked to wear behind, but her certainly still looked the part.

He let out a soft gasp when he caught a flick of pink and waved, "Zaar! Over here!" He scurried to catch up to his taller twin, "sorry I was...Over there?" He gestured in a direction, "I guess I got separated...My bad..." He smiled and nudged against her side a little with a grin, "find anything cool?"

She was quick to smile when he found her, and rejoined her. When he nudged her she leaned into it, turning it into a bit of a bump against him with a growing grin.

"Is okay, I kinda got distracted too." She admitted.

The pair cut a sharp contrast to each other, they shared features that made them clearly related, but one was tall and colorful, the other shorter and preferring darker colors, it sometimes took a bit of a second look to pick out what such an odd pair was doing together.

"What were you looking at?" She peered past him curiously. "See anything cool?" He always found interesting stuff, not always to her taste, but still interesting. "What did I find? LIke...all the things! But I gotta pick now...and there are too many choices." She frowned a little sadly at him. "I dunno which thing I want most...and I kinda wanna bring mom and dad back something too, you know, a snack or something? I think they were kinda tired this morning."

Their parents had seemed happy to let the kids go out, stating they were okay with staying in for the morning, the only reason she could guess why the grown ups wanted to stay in instead of exploring this place was they must be too tired or something...because there was so much to see here, she couldn't imagine staying inside a room was all that interesting in exchange.

Adalee laughed as he stumbled a bit from her retorting bump, grinning wide, "I guess we're both bubbleheads then." He laughed, hooking his arm with hers, "well here, now we wont get lost from each other!" Not that they would stay lost, they both had means of contacting each other and their parents, but he followed her like this for a while anyway.

"Yeah! I found a bunch of cool, weird lookin' instruments, but they all sounded so neat I couldn't decide which sounded best..." Ada always had an ear for music, with no discernible favorite genre or type, even if his choice of clothing would suggest otherwise, he always presumed that he might like to start making music, but he always got caught up on exactly what kind he'd want to make. He glanced at her and nodded understandably, "well hey...Show me!" He grinned, "maybe I can help decide?" He knew their tastes were wildly differing, but he also knew his sister like the back of his hand, so it evened out, he had an idea of the kinds of things she liked, enough to often give opinions and bring her things he found that reminded him of her.

"That would be cool! They're all cooped up in that stuffy hotel, I bet they'd like to have something to eat." Being stuck with hotel room service could be a drag, "lets keep looking around!"

"Yeah, I dunno. Adults are weird." She shrugged. "Dunno why they'd wanna just sit in there when they could be out here...but whatever."

She shifted her arm to take his hand instead, pulling him along iwth her. "you can help me pick...and then I can help you pick too. You like music, you should just pick one...and start it...then you can do more later. You don't have to only ever do one, you know." She reminded him with all the self possessed knowledge of someone at that age where they were just starting to think they knew all the things.

She pulled him over to one of the stalls she'd been looking at, a display of colorful bracelets and necklaces set out all over it. "I like this." She gestured to the table.

"I think maybe...I also wanna get my ears pierced too...so I can wear more fancy things like those.." She indicated elaborate earrings also on display. Their parents had told them if they wanted to get their ears...or other things, once they got a little older, that that was okay. They just had to be sure they wanted it done, and would be responsible enough to take care of it, because otherwise if they didn't they could get infections or sick from it. So being someone who thought through everything she took the time to consider it, but was pretty sure she wanted to do it now, especially seeing how many other things she could wear if she did.
