It was one of the most advanced universities in the country, the amount of hoops that an average person had to jump through to get in would make a circus tiger blush, But Crowley was an intelligent young man, and the payoff that his family had slipped the dead had assured that he did not have to jump through nearly as many. Though the money seemed to be less to assure his entrance, and more to ensure that his 'behaviors' might be overlooked should they arise. None of the hows and whys mattered to the man anyway, he was here, but more importantly, Black would be here too.
He'd known Black for what felt like a long time now, a half sibling hailing from all the way in Russia. He'd never met them face to face, but they'd kept an almost constant line of communication to each other on all platforms, and he was eager to finally be able to share time with them in person. There were few people who Crow let into his life, even fewer who wanted to be in his life, but Black had never seen that, and he could truthfully call them a very very close friend.
They'd made arrangements to room together at an apartment no more than five minutes from the campus on food, choosing that rather than the dorms because of the freedoms it offered. Crow had never pondered on Black's gender, but this would also save any need to care for such things, unlike the dorms, which were split.
He hummed as he unpacked his bags, putting everything away in its proper place. Crowley was mostly biding his time until Black arrived, it kept him from pacing like an eager child.
