Terrance King "Gaunt"
Real Name: Terrance King
Nickname: Gaunt
Age: 31 years
Nationality: American
Occupation: Terrorist/anti-terrorist
Base of Operations: Formerly Hollywood
Affiliation: Neutral
Voice: Danny Shorago (Fallout 4 Hancock)
Personality: Gaunt is a calm and tactical individual, prone to aggressive, violent and angry outbursts. He suffers from severe anger issues and survivors guilt, as well as quite likely a severe case of PTSD. This manifests itself in aggressive, murderous and sometimes cannibalistic tendencies. He has a very hard time connecting with other people, besides the fact his appearance and low levels of base radiation he emits deters a lot of people, he don’t believe he deserves such connections again before he has taken his revenge, and he lives to see Talon and Overwatch destroyed.
Despite this, he yearns for emotional and physical contact, which he fruitlessly tries to find with others, most often people of the night, but he always finds, that no matter the amount of stolen money, he is doomed to be shunned and feared. The world sees him as a monster, so why not prove to Overwatch and Talon that there indeed is a monster in the night worth fearing?

Back Story: Heroes never die huh? Then there wasn’t a whole damn lot of heroes in America…So, so many had died in the nuclear blasts. Talon’s bombs had been devastating. It was bad enough with the outback, that you had at least been able to distance yourself a little from, while still staying informed by hearing about it on the telly. But this, this was so, so much worse. It wasn’t a bunch of savages, bunch of garbage people who were the victims. This was Americans, good people, bad people, but none of them had deserved what they got, none of them deserved it. To die in nuclear fire, or surviving that, to die of the radioactive poisoning.
The day Terrance King, a sixth generation English immigrant to the states was born, no one had foreseen he’d one day survive a nuclear holocaust. As he grew up a normal child to normal parents, no one would have guessed he’d see his entire neighborhood and friends turned to cinders in radioactive fire. As he joined the military, no one would have guessed that one day his body would be seared and scarred beyond recognition by one of the most destructive creations in human history. Terrance died in the aftermath of the Talon nuclear bombings, and in his stead, a creature hellbent on revenge was born.
Terrance had miraculously survived the bomb in the Holly. And in the aftermath, but sheer luck and or accident, he was found by representatives of a rogue part of the Government’s science division. These people, or the group they had splintered from at least, had at one point worked with Overwatch, and, once they had been disbanded, stolen some of the plans to parts of their technology. They didn’t have the full schematics of course, nor the full formulas, a deviously crafty hacker named Athena had seen to that. Thus, they couldn’t restore Terrance to his former self using Mercy’s technology, much as they wanted to test out if they could. The formula was faulty, it kept Terrance alive, but it also bound his biology to the radiation that contaminated him, transforming him to a miniscule nuclear reactor.
Terrance broke free and escaped. He had heard her name, Mercy. He didn’t know if she had been involved in bringing him back, but it didn’t matter. The Overwatch he had looked up to had failed him, failed saving him and his friends, family, hell, every person who died in those blasts. The terror organization known as Talon was still walking around unpunished as well. Terrance swore he would one day have his revenge, on all of them. Overwatch protect the masses they said. Pfth, hell lot of good that did everyone. Talon is untouchable they said. Hah, we’ll see about that. Gaunt would have his revenge, even if he had to douse the flames of conflict in the entire world in the blood of both Talon and Overwatch. There was no heroes or villains in this world, only the innocent, and the guilty. And he swore on the mountains of people murdered and failed, the guilty would pay.
Role: Defense
Abilities: Nuclear beam: Gaunt fires a beam of radioactive fire from the palm of his hand in a direct line. The fire burns and irradiates whatever it hits, damaging instantly as well as for a smaller period over time. If the beam hits the surroundings instead of an opponent, it leaves behind a small radioactive area for a period of time that damages others and heals Gaunt for some of the damage he has taken.
Chow down! : Gaunt passively gathers meat from every fallen enemy he comes near as per reflex, collecting it in several small bags in his belts. He can then devour the content of one of these bags in order to heal himself for a high portion of the damage he has taken.
Meltdown! : Meltdown! Is Gaunt’s ultimate ability, in which he unleashes a great portion of the nuclear energy building up inside of him during combat in a violent explosion covering a large area (equal to Sombra’s ult in the game, in terms of range). Besides the severe levels of damage the explosion itself does to an opponent, it also leaves the area heavily irradiated for a period, subjecting enemies within it to radiation that damages them over time.
Weapon(s): Gaunt’s weapon is an assault rifle akin in style to Soldier 76’s, that was once commissioned by the military, with a fire axe taped to the underside of it, allowing Gaunt to both shoot and if within range hack and slash at his opponents.
Height: 6.4 feet
Eye Color: Steel Grey
Hair Color/Style: N/A
Body Type: Lean, slim, gaunt
Clothing Style: Ragged yet practical, like a soldier, but with much more worn gear, and a hood to cover his face just a little.
