This had been a wild goose chase from start to finish.
He liked to drop in to visit from time to time, and Nepal was a place that tended to just radiate peace of mind from every corner, so he never minded making trips there to the temple to pay his master a visit, whether just with the intent of a friendly hello, or to clear his mind when he began to feel trouble tugging at the corners. He'd come a long way from who he was before, but everyone faltered and stumbled, Zenyatta was good at steadying him again.
However, Zenyatta hadn't been there when he arrived to the temple, and asking around only afforded him the knowledge that he was now in Europe, somewhere around Spain, so that had been his next destination. He'd not thought it strange at the time, but it was certainly curious that he was this far from home, what was he doing around Spain?
But he hadn't been in Spain, he'd searched all the nooks and crannys that the guru might have logically been, and asking only brought the knowledge that he had been in Spain, but seemed to be gone.
It was as curious as it was worrisome, and Genji found himself growing somewhat concerned for his master, could he be in danger? He couldn't fathom what trouble Zenyatta could have gotten into, but the nagging little thought was enough to make his search less about saying hello and more about making sure he was safe.
The last clue he'd gotten on the guru's whereabouts was even more puzzling than Spain, what was he doing in Gary, Indiana? This was becoming a rather strange goose chase, and it would have been comical if not for the worry he felt.
It was strange being in such a small town, and he found it hard to believe that Zenyatta was actually here, but asking around seemed to confirm that he was, it was just a matter of sniffing out exactly where he was in Gary, Indiana, and that was exactly what found him walking through the streets, peeking into any pace that seemed logical for the omnic to be.
