PERSONALITY
Clever, Resourceful, Obedient, Intelligent, Sycophantic, Cowardly, Unpredictable, Manic.
Joseph has always been a clever young man, earning his nickname thanks to his ability to squeeze into just about any nook or cranny, he's got a knack for finding the best holes for slipping in unnoticed, which is a feat given his near blindness. Given the place he spent a small portion of his childhood, he seems to display that inherited resourcefulness that many people hailing from the Outback posses, the ability to scavenge and find useful uses for items that are otherwise junk, many of his tools are made from said trash that he's found and scrapped.
Despite his nature, he is a very obedient man, he follows orders no matter how dangerous, because he usually knows that doing so means continued protection, he is a rather vulnerable sort due to his eyes, so he'll take protection where he can, even if that brings with it bullying and abuse, such as what he's suffered from the people he is currently taking orders from. One of his proudest factors is his intelligence, though not nearly as skilled a hack as some sorts out there, he excels in the art of subterfuge and stealth, he knows how to work people in his favor, though his manipulations are usually only used as a means to protect himself.
He is a yellow bellied coward if there ever was one, usually needing to be bribed or convinced to do anything that he perceives as dangerous, though, convincing him is never terribly difficult, as he loves nothing more than to please and serve people. He is a sycophant at heart, a suck up and a rat, he has the potential to be a better person, if given the right sort of push to do so. But his often times manic and unpredictable behavior makes him a difficult sort to tame and control.
He is prone to doing strange and often psychotic seeming things, though for the most part harmless, he does have the potential to be a little hellfire at times.
