Personality:

Sombra is many things, but the one person she watches out for is herself. With a natural gift for worming her way into numerous computer systems, she will do whatever she can to get ahead. It usually doesn't take too long for her to snatch and exploit sensitive information, often using it to blackmail and manipulate others. Whatever dirty little secret hides within the darkest corner of the high and mighty, whatever seemingly impossible fortress no one wants broken into, Sombra will have zero issue digging into. While this does make her a valuable asset to the more shadowy organizations, most notably her professional involvement with Talon, Sombra will only be a "team player" as long as there's something for her opportunistic self to gain.

This infamous hacker isn't all doom and gloom though, even if she sometimes works with the worst of 'em. Sombra has a wicked sense of humor, trolling ally and enemy alike. When it comes to most of her interactions, Sombra will be just friendly enough to play others into her hands, with a smile and a laugh. She's not quite an outward people person, however, and she's rather keep her own identity under wraps. Considering the numerous crime she's committed over her entire career (on a global scale, mind you), anyone would do the same.

Back Story:

The story of how Sombra came to be would be a very familiar one to those growing up during the Omnic Crisis. She was one of the many children left orphaned in its wake, with nothing else left to her name. Over the years, she had developed various hacking skills as a means for survival, eventually catching the eye of Los Muertos. Having been taken in by this new family, the girl would lend a hand to help the Mexican gang and their revolution against the government. For a time, the young hacker was on top of the world, or at least she felt so. Wrecking up the rich and defending the poor and suffering, the hacker grew confident with her burgeoning skills and the power that she held with the use of intel.

The ongoing game of information-gathering and manipulation, from the small fries to to higher up, was like a drug to the young hacker. People became like puppets, and they were there for her to pull their strings under the guise of anonymity. However, something happened that would make it all come crashing down. The hacker had been working her way into something that became much bigger than she realized. A conspiracy of sorts, one that had its tendrils within numerous sources, and they all led to someone -- something -- being the true puppet master.

But then, she was caught. Big time. Left with no other options, the girl who would become Sombra was forced to erase every bit of her identity and disappear from the face of the earth.

Time passed, but Sombra herself would not sit by idly. Not wanting to lose everything again, she started undergoing numerous upgrades to her equipment and her body. She emerged anew, taking on a new mantle and a new purpose. Her hacking became much more widespread, leaving her with many fans and countless more enemies. This newfound attention would lead Sombra to cross paths with the organization known as Talon, leading the hacker to make her way into her ranks. With her new resources and a new lease on life, Sombra will stop at nothing to unravel the conspiracy she uncovered and he who really controls the world...

Abilities:

OPPURTUNIST - Can see enemies (with 50% health or lower) through walls and other sufaces

HACK - Can hack into enemies and disrupt abilities. Can alternatively hack into health packs to render them useless to enemies and make them reload faster

THERMOPTIC CAMO - Can turn herself invisible and move faster for a short time. Attacking, getting hit or using any sort of offensive abilities will disable this effect

TRANSLOCATOR - Tosses out a translocator beacon, being able to transport herself right to its location.

EMP - Sombra can toss out a device that can disable enemy barriers and shields, as well as hack all enemies within its radius.
