Francois is a bit of strange one. He seems very easy-going and positive, however, many of the things that come out of his mouth definitely don't match his attitude. Much like his coworkers, he enjoys order and neatness. However, he does like to experiment here and there with what is possible. If he doesn't like what he's made, he'll destroy it just as quickly as he built it.
He tries not to associate with the messy and unordered unless he feels he can 'clean up' the situation. There is also a hint of competitiveness within him, and the fact that he seems to be outshined by others constantly irritates him to no end. However, he is perfectly skilled at hiding this turmoil behind a gentle smile.
Back Story:
Recruited by Vishkar from his home country of France, Francois was determined to get out there and help the world. Though it seemed as though the cards were stacked against him when light bending was a bit difficult for him to perform. However, he had a breakthrough with his creation: sonic audio technology that could be used to control a populace. He was commended and put in charge of overseeing the technology's use in Rio De Janero.
It was going so well, at first. Though it was clear he would never be as praised as Satya Visani, a coworker of his, he was satisfied watching his hard work used to improve what was once unorderly. His one mistake had been leaving his greatest achievement under-guarded. One of the citizens had broken in and stolen his work, and manipulated it. Vishkar was pushed out of the city, and Francois received harsh penalties for the entirety of the incident.
He would not be put down so easily, however. He was actually inspired a bit by what that thief had done. He created his own utility, one that utilizes several sound files to light bend objects on command. If he could think of the correct tune, then it was as simple as that. It is also capable of firing sonic projectiles.
