24

American
Occupation:
Aspiring director/filmmaker
Base of Operations:

Voice:
Strong and resonate, generally cheerful.
Personality:
She wants what she wants, and she's willing to work hard to get it right now. Incredibly driven and Type A, she doesn't do well being told what to do or that she's doing things wrong. She's incredibly stubborn and strong-willed and doesn't hesitate to butt heads with people who don't agree with her. She can be redirected or corrected, but it needs to be approached not from a place of "you're wrong" but "have you considered this?". She has a hair-trigger temper that can flair up, but will just as quickly die down again, generally her personality is very cheerful and quite personable, and is the sort people are often drawn to and want to get to know better.
Back Story:
Her parents divorced when she was quite young, she only has a handful of scattered memories of her father, George. Things like him reading her stories, or dancing with her in the living room, as well as the stories her grandmother would tell him about how he'd been a hero and a brave man. Her grandmother also died when she was quite young however, leaving her to be raised by her mother. Her mother was a fairly controlling and opinionated woman, and Natalie clashed with her often and from an early age. She was labeled a difficult and defiant child, and over the years she started to hold on more to the stories of her father, and how maybe she would have related to him better. She didn't believe that he'd died like she'd been told and as she grew into her teens she spent more time trying to find out anything she could about his whereabouts, only to come up on dead end after dead end. More than anything else because she knew it would get a rise out of her mother, at age 18 she legally changed her last name back to her father's last name.
Also always having been someone with a strong imagination and a flare for storytelling, she spent a great deal of time in the theater department, and later doing film work. She wanted to create and direct her own work, and at age 18 was awarded a full scholarship to a premiere film school in Los Angeles, California. Upon graduation she'd already started to make a name for herself and began working for real in the industry, even having some of her work shown at acclaimed film festivals. Between her work, searching for her father, and doing her best to look after her brother, as she felt he needed it, she kept impossibly busy without much free time.
Her friends invited her for a week to the Caribbean, trying to convince her she worked too hard and needed to take time to live a little, she was too young to have no life. She refused, but agreed to go at the last possible moment when a project fell through. Three days into her week long trip Talon destroyed Los Angeles with a nuclear bomb. Deeply shaken by how close she came to being killed, and how she avoided it merely on chance and a last minute decision, she is now trying to decide how to carry on with her life from here.
