Finally, everything in order no more crisis occurring, Jack had Whiskey put him together a mission briefing after he'd decided on their first target. Apparently the energy cells Hush had been looking into seemed to end up in Deadlock hands occasionally, that could give them a lead. He had the fishkid put together an information document condensing all the findings so far. Now it was time to assign people to this task.
Hush, and Ana came to mind, two snipers with different strengths, in a nice vertical space with plenty of hidden watch points, along with two decent heavy guns with Jesse and George; Jesse also knew the Gorge better than anyone else. Yeah that sounded reasonable. This'd be the first mission of the new group, and he wanted to make sure it went well. A list of supplies was drawn up and he'd had drones gather it all into a make-shift armory waiting in the conference room. Everything they ought to need and extras 76 believed could be useful. He set down paper files havign the write ups deleted so no one could intercept them. Paper couldn't be tracked like that.
He called the team in, everything was waiting, the intercom sounded. "Ana, Hush, George and Jesse please report to main conference room for briefing," he heard echo out. Whiskey was enjoying playing denmother it seemed.
Jack took a sip of his coffee, hm, he wasn't sure how well he trusted Hush but Jesse and Ana were his right hand, they'd keep an eye on him...and George? Well he listened to orders and was stubborn as the old Commander, he'd keep them on track. He had to decide who mission lead would be though, George and Ana seemed like fine choices, leaning more towards Ana she was proven and he'd worked with her more personally. Right, Ana on lead. Good. This seemed solid.
The old soldier was kind of impressed, he took to this like a duck to water, he supposed you never really forgot.
