Another mission, another success, this was easy; well Reyes did most of the work, but still he was doing great. The young man had his hands on his hips looking like he owned the place, a real Overwatch member, a real part of the team! He strode down the hall, full of a swagger he couldn’t contain, only to be stopped by a curious look from the Commander.
“So the nameless rider returns,” commented Jack with crossed arms. “You know that belt buckle is not really allowed.” He seemed serious for about half a second before smiling. “Good job, nice hat, be nicer if you weren’t wearing it in the building.” He winked, and continued on leaving McCree to pull it off his head and hold it against his chest.
“Sorry,” McCree mumbled as he watched Morrison go. The Commander turned to walk backward a moment giving him a salute. He really was a dork; Jesse was having a hard time figuring out if it was just him or if this guy was really that uncool. It was kinda like having a goofy dad, and McCree didn’t know how to feel about that.
“Keep up the good work Cowboy,” He heard distantly as finally Morrison vanished from his sight.
“…okay…” Jesse mostly mumbled to himself. He’d have to figure that one out later.
