The Forgotten Soldier (Open to Overwatch and Talon)

The sound of a helicopter's rotor could be heard around Eichenwalde. It was not a helicopter, but rather a dropship piloted by Jaeger, testing it before he went to Australia. He was just flying over some mountains when his ground-penetrating radar showed something that looked like some sort of facility, buried undenr an avalanche. Jaeger flew over the avalance, dropping some of his plasma explosives and waited a few minutes until they all went off. The snow and ice quickly melted because of the heat of the plasma. Jaeger landed the aircraft, found the entrance and entered the building. Then he searched the facility until he found a chamber with objects that looked like the stasis pods he used when he was still in the Sentinel Program. Jaeger searched for a way to open them all, and quickly found a button labeled 'manual override' in german, and pressed it...

As the pod opened, a bit of the ice fog seeped out of the chamber. After a few moments the ice fog subsided enough to reveal a human being, dressed in the manner of the Wehrmacht soldiers of old. He seemed unconscious, seemly in a frozen state. 

There were many questions going through Jaegers head. What was this place? Why was there a man dressed as a German soldier from the second world war in a cryopod? Jaeger chose to just ask them out loud: "Hey, who are you?" He said in German

Frozen was perhaps the best thing to describe the soldier current state, as freezing him was what preserved him for hundreds of years after all. 

Jaeger thought to himself: "I can wait. But I can also do the more dangerous thing and make heat. I'll do the last option." Then he placed a plasma charge at a safe distance from the soldier so the heat would possible wake him up, and let it explode

The plasma charge generated enough heat to melt a good deal of the room, including the stasis pod. The soldier's body jolted at the blast, but a few more moments later the man's chest started to move up and down. The man was breathing, if one looked closely, one could see that the man's eyes were beginning to slowly open. The same person would also be able to hear the man say "scheiß..."

James looked around the corner, seeing that the man was alive after all. Taking a closer look, he stood in front of the soldier again, asking 'who are you?' in German

The man started to blink, his vision slowly returning to him. Upon hearing the German, he tensed up a bit, before replying back in German "Who is asking?"

The mountains were covered in sheets of snow and ice from the freezing weather that surrounded the high tops. Snow constantly fell from the clouds and the wind blew between the earth formations. The fog was also present making it trouble to see the bottom and top of the mountain. Grunting was made by someone climbing the side of the icy wall. It was Winston who was scaling the mountain in thermal wear to not freeze in this unforgiving nature. A hood covered most of his head and he held two ice pickaxes for climbing. He was progressing upwards on the mountain trying to not look down from the intimidating height. Mountain climbing wasn't a common thing he has done but he at least practiced before scaling this humongous mountain just to be safe. Lately, he been in Germany and was researching about some rumors he's heard online and locals. Apparently, there was a super soldier project that the Nazis made which was similar to what his former Overwatch commander was made into.

He researched about this war experimentation to see if it was true or not. Some claimed to be true and others rejected the existence of it saying there's not a lot of evidence. Winston didn't want to wait around for a real answer. He wanted to progress since he was worried about Talon causing more chaos events like Gibraltar and Hollywood. There has to be an end to this destruction. An idea came to him thinking from someone's theory suggesting that soldiers could've been put into cryo-sleep but no one could've invented some kind of advanced technology for that time. Enough was enough sitting around and thinking. He had to get to the bottom of this. If he could at check to see if the place exist and someone is alive with the similar strength that commander Morrison had, that soldier could be useful to help Winston to save this world from more danger.

After all, he had not Overwatch agent to turn to after the attack on Gibraltar and thought that most of them could be dead or captured by Talon somewhere secretive. Meanwhile, Winston is still climbing the icy wall of the mountain and couldn't tell if he's even at the right location from the information he relied on. Suddenly, rubble fell down upon Winston from a boom he heard above him. The scientist ape tries to dodge the falling debris moving right to left quickly while still climbing. After ten minutes more of ice climbing, he finally reached a cliff edge and grabbed it immediately.  He grounded himself again on the firm ground and realizes that he's at an entrance of a half exploded bunker. The ice ax picks get clipped to his belt and moves onward in curiosity of this place. The excitement of discovery builds up inside him also confidence. Maybe he could find these super soldiers after all, hopefully alive. Of course, the bunker has been rotting for over a century and looked to be a ruined place. Darkness filled the corridors as he progressed deeper into the bunker.

He turns on his headlamp he kept with his survival gear just to be prepared for the wilderness. Suddenly, movement can be heard echoing throughout the facility. Winston gets ready for any surprises and hopes it's just an animal looking for a home. The scientist moved quickly towards the where the sound was coming from. After running around in the abandoned laboratory for fifteen minutes, he finally reaches the cryo room and is noticed by the other two humans which made Winston surprised not really expecting anyone here.

Jaeger replied: "My name is James Maleski, but you can call me Jaeger as it's shorter. Who are you? What is this place? You look like you're from WWII"

When Winston entered the room, Jaeger was very surprised because he saw a large gorilla standing there.

"So your with the Fallschirmjäger? I didn't think they had them assigned to this project. But..." The man said, squinting at Jaeger. "I don't recognize your uniform, which regiment are you from? Wait..." The man's body became ever tense. "What do you mean world war two?"

"I'm not in any regiment" James replied. "I hate to say it to you, but the war you fought in? It's over, lost by the Germans. If you're a real soldier from the second world war, you must be over 100 years old. The year is 2075."

"What!" the man said, griping the sides of the cryopod. At this point he was trembling, his eyes were now wide open. "I-It,it can't be...it can't"
