Ian laughed. "Peppers and garlic and all kinds of stuff, yet I still feel like you'll still consider...eh, mild." He teased. He'd once tried something Harley considered hot...and hadnt been able to taste anything for about a week after.
He sighed talking about Sol. "He's always been opinionated. But apparently some of his opinions have turned a little...hurtful...lately. I don't think he means to...I think he's...well, we don't always think about these things when we are teenagers. But I don't want to leave it unchecked either."
He gave Harley a grateful smile. "I don't expect you to have to help parent him but I would appreciate the support. And sometimes another set of eyes not quite as close to a situation helps too." Harley loved Sol and had done more then his share where the young man was concerned, but did have the space of not being directly related, something that sometimes clouded the minds of even the most logical sorts.
