He hadn't been here a terribly long amount of time, nearly a month by now he imagined, the strange 15 year old had been left at the bus stop in town with no return address, just a prior letter to Sam to tell the man that he was coming, that whoever was sending him couldn't take it anymore, that he could have the devil to do with as he pleased.
And since arriving here, he'd been a perfectly polite boy, he never talked back, he always smiled and obeyed, but a few hands had been complaining to Sam that he gave them chills, that there was just something about him that set their teeth grinding.
Sasha thought it was amusing, seeing grown men three times his size give him such a wide berth, but it suited him all the same. He wasn't here to make friends, he wasn't here to do anything yet, he was content to make people comfortable with his presence, and he was eager to learn more about the man who was letting him stay here.
He hummed softly as he picked through the kitchen, making a mental note where everything was, he knew he wasn't meant to be in the house when Sam wasn't around, but he didn't care. The man had left the front door unlocked, this was as much an invitation as anything, wasn't it? Content with the layout of the kitchen, the quiet boy began picking his way up the stairs, intending to go through Sam's room next.
