How to Train Your Dragon [Open]

Hanzo gave something of a grunt in response to being told he looked nice. It wasn't that he didn't appreciate the compliment, he was just not pleased with the clothing. "The clothes will do, I assume we should not pull too much suspicion," he said looking over at Gabriel who...well frankly wasn't always entirely solid. "Does it hurt to stay solid?" Nasty habit of being curious, men made of smoke, super soldiers, robot magic, monsters in tanks...he wasn't sure how to feel or inquire about it all. "Yes, I'm sure. There is much to enjoy. At least let us walk, I tire of this place and standing still."

A low noise sounded in his throat at that before nodding. "We should be fine," he'll say as he motions for them to go ahead and start walking, moving to stay next to the other man. The question though was rather sudden but honestly, he doesn't blame Hanzo for being a bit curious about.. this whole smoke thing. "A little," he'll admit softly, a frown tugging slightly on his lips as the two walked. "It used to hurt more at first but I have gotten used to it and gotten adjusted." Gabriel is always hurting in one way or another but he has grown so used to it that it doesn't bother him anymore. He's still upset about being this way in the first place. "This place is rather decent, I'm sure we'll enjoy the walk."

He nodded thoughtfully, well, that wasn't exactly comforting. Who'd done that to Reaper anyway? Far as he knew he'd been normal before he was The Reaper. "Yes," he agreed, they'd be fine. No one would question them, likely enough. Maybe curious as they certainly didn't look like average people from indiana. "Yes, I believe we will." He crossed his arms and began to walk. "Where is the city anyway? All I see are fields, corn, but I do not know what the shorter stalks are. I believe that Soldier would know. He lived here yes? You are from Los Angeles." He hummed. "Ignore me, I am thinking outloud."

Gabriel only let out a small 'hm' at the other's nod as they continued, putting his hands into the pockets of his fancy tux. No one should bother them, hopefully. Gabriel won't hesitate to come to the other man's defense or to his own if needed. He'll glance around, letting out a small sigh at the gentle breeze and sights. It is nice here. When Hanzo started talking again, or thinking out loud, Gabriel glanced over at the man before chuckling softly. "He lived here before, yes and I am from Los Angeles." Before it became a wasteland. "I don't mind, trust me." But.. where is the city? Good question. Maybe he'll send out his pet Owl to see if they're even heading in the right direction. Speaking of his owl, she'll make a small appearance since she came from out of nowhere before flying off.

Seconds later she'll come back with a small noise before disappearing into nothing. "We're heading the right way, don't worry. We should be there soon."

The archer watched the bird and figured he'd say nothing, he summoned dragons, why not Reaper summon birds? He grunted. "He seems like a trustworthy man, though I have learned it best not to indulge. All these people who think they are doing what is good. What is right. I do not believe they even know the meaning of the words," he replied as he picked up the pace, if they were going in the right direction he'd like to be there with some urgency, his lips were dry so far. "Perhaps fate has switched the meanings around. Now they are doing the wrong thing." He shook his head. "I believe it does not matter." Hanzo took a deep breath.

"Maybe this is not the sort of thing to talk about." He wasn't exactly sure how to approach a regular conversation with Reaper. Gabriel...whatever it is he was being called now. He just kept thinking aloud, a horrible habit from wandering alone. "Maybe you have something you would like to talk about?

"When I knew him, 76 was.. a very good guy. He cared a lot for his soldiers," Gabriel mumbled with a slight shrug. "I wasn't the best person to know back then and I have to deal with that for the rest of my life, but he was good. People liked his company and everything." Yeah, maybe he was a bit jealous but it's hard not to be. People loved Jack and he was thrown to the side. Oh well, that's something he got over already. Once Hanzo picked up the pace, Gabriel did as well just to keep up with him. "Everyone is trying their best."

"Maybe," he'll grumble as he continues walking at a quicker pace thanks to the other man. The question made him slightly frown, going deadly quiet as he thinks about what he could say. There's a lot to talk about, but he rather keep such things to himself. Maybe he'll ask about their little.. thing they got going on. But he did ask already, sort of. He rather not push it so he'll figure something else to talk about. "If you're curious about.. this whole smoke thing I do, you can ask as much questions as you want."

"Everyone liked my brother too, but mostly women," Hanzo said as he listened. Always the pretty ones, the ones who smile and laugh along with all the worst jokes. People seem to think you have a problem if you prefer to stay silent, or avoid too much attention. Genji never did find the time to study, frustrated Hanzo because just maybe his little brother was better than him at most of it even with his laxidaisical attitude. He shrugged. "Trying their best, and doing what needs to be done are different things." He pulled the tie out of his hair and moved to redo it differently as the city came into view.

Hanzo glanced over, there definitely seemed to be more Gabriel was looking to talk about, though he did have many questions about the unusual state of the man. "Who did that to you?" he found himself asking. The curiosity was burning, why would someone do taht to a person? Seemed cruel.

Gabriel only let out a low noise in response to that, unable to help but to smirk a bit. He didn't know Genji that well, actually just that he was really out there and talked a lot with the women. He never paid much attention to it in the first place, honestly. "Women liked us all, really but I never bothered to get into relationships at the time. Too busy," he'll say with a small tilt of his head. He does have a bit of time now to do whatever he wanted really. "Of course," he mumbled in response with a nod, glancing at Hanzo as he retied his hair.

The question made him frown as he grew deadly silent, moving his hand to rub the back of his neck. "Something happened, really bad and I.. actually died so Dr. Ziegler 'tried' to revive me but messed up since I was also used as an experiment at the same time," he'll answer with a sigh as he crosses his arms over his chest.

Hanzo raised a brow. That seemed like a sensitive subject, he stepped around it for now. "I see," he replied and went quiet for a while. This was very unusual, he didn't really go out specifically, not much need for it. "I...well..." He glanced around they seemed to be in town now. Hanzo was visibly less than thrilled, he felt like everyone was staring at him. Everything felt like a threat, assassins everywhere. "You said something about Mexican food?" He decided to redirect them to the path of food, and alcohol.

Should he mention the look Reaper had? What was the appropriate way to handle that anyway? English was hard enough without having to figure out the cultural nuances. "It sounds agreeable."

At the response he got, Gabriel glanced over at Hanzo before raising an eyebrow. "Well?" He asked, a bit curious to why Hanzo seemed to get quiet at the response he gave him. And then the topic change, oh well. "If that is what you want to have. I'm able to go anywhere you want to go to," Gabriel answered with a small shrug as he can't help but glance at the other people who simply walked by them, not paying attention to the two men. Maybe no one will throw insults their way or anything. Maybe it'll be a simple and a nice meal. Date..? Gabriel is still on the edge.

Agreeable? Oh Hanzo. Gabriel looked over at him again at the word, narrowing his eyes just a bit before looking ahead instead to look at the windows as they walk by them.

Hanzo took a few moments to just walk silently, his feet barely making noise. Rolling his shoulders he mustered up another response after a time. "I have nothing I hunger for specifically; I wish to try whatever it is you'd like to eat," he offered to Gabriel as he took a side step closer to the man to avoid a person walking at them. "It is...nice not to be noticed as it is strange." Hanzo glanced up at Reaper and seemed to be considering him for a while. The face he wore was withheld but confused in some sense.

"I..." He stopped. "I should ask something of you. What is this that we do?" He motioned around as if to express them together like this.

"I'll make sure not to order anything that could possibly be too spicy, I know not everyone is into that," Gabriel simply replied, glancing at the man that simply walked by before looking ahead again, glancing at the places nearby to see if he can find a nice little place to go to. He's not too knowledgeable about this place, but it never hurts to check it out, just in case. "I'm fine with it," Gabriel mumbled with a slight shrug as he looks around with a thoughtful noise rumbling in his throat. "I rather not be noticed nowadays."

Though once Hanzo turned the topic into a rather serious one, he'll frown just a bit as he thinks on the question. What are they? Really? "Well, what we're doing is going on a date, I guess," he answered softly. "If you want to think of it as one, otherwise I'm not sure." Yeah, he's honestly not sure about this whole thing. "If you're talking in general.. well, I'm still unsure. I liked to think that there is probably something between us, however, it is hard to really understand what's going on without knowing of the other's feelings."

Hanzo furrowed his brow, knowing the other's feelings. Was that pointed at him? It felt like it, he wasn't one to let anyone else know his emotional state. A date. He supposed that sounded right. On a date. "A Date." He repeated for good measure as he leaned back on his heels. Right. Of course. His noise scrunched up suddenly as if he'd smelled something back. "I...am not one to speak on such things, it is not proper, it is not for men who lead." He didn't find that a satisfactory thing to say, and stopped them. "This place, says "Mexican"? Is this correct?" He tilted his head.

He couldn't escape the question or the feeling forever, but damned if he wouldn't put it off for now. "Will this be acceptable?"
