Feel the Healing Beat [Lucio]

It took him a moment to actually compose himself enough to pull his head from his shirt like the awkward turtle he was, noticing Lucio's frown and lifting his hand, "No! n-no no...Y-ye didn't...I-I mean..." Shit, he reached up to ruffle his own hair, shaking his head around to clear his thoughts, "I didn't...hate it..." He was being extra twitchy now, something between nerves going haywire and feeling incredibly restless now, "s-sorry I'm a mess..." That was an understatement, he'd never had to deal with friendship, much less these kinds of feelings. What was wrong with him?!

He cleared his throat of the cobwebs that seemed to be caught and tangling with his words before taking a deep breath and coming close to return the small kiss on Lucio's opposite cheek, pulling away and backing himself against the far wall of the Elevator, the best form of fleeing that he could do. His face was bright red and he found himself utterly unable to meet his eyes, "I-uh...I like frogs too." Smooth. Real smooth.

Lucio just watched the other with that same frown on his face, unsure how to really make it better. He feels like he did something bad and poor Junkrat is so.. anxious. Even more so than earlier. He'll turn his gaze elsewhere as he crosses his arms over his chest loosely, not in a mean way at all. Boy what a mess he made. "Hey," he'll start as he turns his eyes back to the other with a small sigh. "It's my fault, alright? I didn't mean to make a mess here. You're fine." Lucio said with a grin, trying to make light of the situation.

Though once he was kissed on the cheek in return, his eyes widened in surprise before that blush became even deeper than a second ago. "O-oh," he'll mumble nervously, deciding to hide his face with his hands just so he can secretly smile to himself. Oh dear. After a bit, he'll lower his hands at the comment, deciding to go along with it so they both can try and relax. "Yeah? I like.. Hylidae frogs the most. Big eyes and they.. look innocent."

He was finding it easier to breath now, not as claustrophobic as he'd been feeling a second ago, he was able to peel himself away from the far wall a tad and chuckled, "Those the little ones with th'bright orange toes?" He was taking a crackshot guess since he was nowhere close to being a frog expert, "I can see why...They're a bit like you mate. Adorable and wide eyed with wonder." He snickered and gave him a good humored little nudge, "And tiny!" His tone implied that he wasn't cracking fun at his height, in fact, he enjoyed how much shorter Lucio was, it would make hugging him all the better. He shook those thoughts away and chuckled, glancing at the elevator buttons, "Hey! ninth floor! Nearly there." He wondered if the elevator ride seemed to take so long because of the unspoken sparks that, or just a really slow ride, he wasn't entirely complaining either way. And he felt more than a little satisfied that Lucio reacted in the way he did, it was comforting that he seemed just as flustered by the gesture.

"That's one of them, actually," Lucio said, now going back to his bright smiling self. "They're real cute," he started before blinking a bit at the compliments. Oh boy, oh boy. He'll laugh softly, more nervously as he continues to blush. "Adorable, huh?" Lucio gently nudged the other back playfully. "Thanks again, you're full of compliments now," he pointed out before pouting at being called tiny. He.. is tiny actually. "Aw, I ain't that small," he said defensively before starting to laugh again. "Being tiny has its perks." Does it now? Lucio turned his gaze to the elevator buttons, hearing a small ding once they reached the tenth floor and the doors opened. He'll go ahead and glide out of the elevator, turning to wait for Jamie to follow. "Come on, slowpoke." If Junkrat can tease him about being tiny, he'll tease him about being slow. Of course not in a mean way. He'll wait with a bright grin, just happy now that the other seems more relaxed.

He gave his best attempt at a coy grin when Lucio pointed out his compliments, "well now that I know I ain't bein' creepy...Why 'old back?" It was cute watching Lucio turn red and grin even wider when he said such things anyway, just another reminder of how perfect he was. He chuckled and looked curious, poking his tongue out, "smaller'n me mate! What perks might that be?" Now he was curious, but momentarily distracted by the ding of the elevator, "Ha! I s'pose that's a fair jab!" He took it good humoredly as he followed him out of the elevator, forgetting himself a moment as he ran to peer out the window, "hooley dooley! We really are high up!" It was pretty thrilling, definitely the highest in the air he'd ever been, and after a moment he backed off from the window, "So mate, lead th'way!" He grinned as he fell into step beside him, fighting the urge to take his hand again.

That made Lucio laugh as he simply smiles. "You ain't creepy at all, so I don't mind any sort of compliments," he'll admit softly as he forces another pout, trying his best not to laugh again. Perks? Well, he didn't think he would be asked about that. "Well, I'm fast," he'll answer, hoping that the answer was fine but he'll just laugh again. He'll then follow Junkrat to the window to look out as well with a bright grin, smiling just a bit. "See? It's pretty awesome!" Lucio said as he turns his gaze to the other, motioning for him to follow. "My room ain't far," he'll say as he goes passed two doors until he gets to his room, digging into his pocket to put out the key before unlocking it and pushing it open. "Here we are, make yourself comfortable."

He chuckled when he caught that pout, giving him a toothy grin and patting his back, "I happen to like yew jus' the height yer at!" He nodded in agreement, he'd seen Lucio at top speeds plenty of times, "Ain't that th'truth mate! Yew outpace all of us!" Except maybe that squirrel-y little Brit, but she had the advantage of that blinking thing she did. He trailed after him again as they continued towards his room, looking eager when he unlocked it and opened it, "crikey! This is a nice room!" It was plenty spacious that was for sure, but still with a friendly atmosphere, but that could just be because Lucio was here, "thank yew again fer lettin' me stay here with yeh, Lu!" He couldn't help but feel out of place though, clean room, with a sweet guy like Lucio, he was a mess compared to this, "I'll try not t'make too big a mess of th'place!" He gave him a crooked grin.

Lucio only blushed again, grinning at the pat to his back. "Thanks, Jamie," he said as he moves to go into the room, moving a bit as he goes over to his laptop to turn it on so he can continue to work on the concert for later. "That's why I made my Speed Boost so everyone can keep up with me." Lucio then moved to look over at the other, motioning for him to enter the room. "No problem, it's better than some concrete floor and besides, I care for you so it would be best if you stayed here with me." Lucio replied as he glides over to the mini fridge that sat nearby, opening it to look in it. "Want something? I don't have beer or anything. Don't like the stuff. If you're hungry I got some TV dinners," he rambled a bit, closing the fridge door for now. "Oh don't worry, I don't think you'll make a mess. Oh! Shower is just right there also."

He remembered that little trick, it was handy, he found, because he tended to lag behind otherwise, "Well this slowpoke 'preciates it, kinda' sucks bein' left be'ind all th'time because I ain't the most nimble." Maybe that wasn't entirely true, he could be slippery when he needed to be, but fast he was not. He was a tad stricken with a deep blush when he said he cared for him, words that might have been meant in an innocent way, but melted him right down to the core, "y'care fer me? Hehe...Yer one'a th'few blokes that does. I uh...I care fer you too!" He lifted his hands an laughed softly, "I'm alright fer th'moment, thank yew though!" He glimpsed at his metal arm before slapping his hand over his face "oi, maybe a shower aint th'best idea...I gotta take these off an' gettin' up 'an down without 'em is a pain..." It was why he tended to avoid showers in general, one because he never had a place to take them, and two because he needed help and that was embarrassing as hell. He laughed, "it's embarrassin'..."

"And that's why I'm here," Lucio responded as he glides over to the laptop again, signing into it before bringing up a music program before humming a bit. Though he won't pay much attention to it since he now as a roommate to look after. He doesn't mind it at all however. "I'm glad to hear that you care," he mumbled as he moves away from the laptop to stay near the other instead. Lucio stayed quiet, head tilting just a bit before smiling brightly. "Hey, I can totally help you out. Maybe a bath would be more comfortable," he'll say as he rests his hands on his waist. "Don't worry, you don't have to be embarrassed around me. Besides, my concert ain't for another two hours so we can just hang out here before then."

He found himself just watching Lucio work with an expression between admiration and wonder, he was so cute, especially attractive when he was in the middle of doing something he loved. He shook the expression off his face when he neared him again, he was about to open his mouth to speak when he caught what Lucio said, "H-help? I...I dunno...It's." He fumbled over his words and fiddled with the join of his metal finger, giving him a crooked smile, "I-I mean...I guess that would be okay." He was usually pretty self conscious about this sort of thing, but what hard was there when it was just him and Lucio? Sure he'd be seeing him at his most vulnerable and possibly naked, but he did trust him, it would be okay. He swallowed and chuckled, nodding, "a-alright then...B-but only if yew really don't mind! H-helpin' I mean...I d-don't wanna be a hassle, yew've been nice enough as is!" He was babbling again, but he really didn't want to be a burden.

"As long as you're comfortable with it, and I won't watch you or anything. I'll totally see if I can help with my eyes closed," he'll such with a lopsided grin, head tilting just slightly. "Hey, now. You ain't no hassle." Lucio huffed. "I would love to help out as much as I can," he continued as he moves to make his way to the computer for a moment, double checking the time for the concert before turning his eyes to the other. "Are you alright? I mean.. you seem real nervous. I'm sorry if I'm making you nervous or something." Lucio then frowned as he turns his gaze to the computer. "I can give you space instead if you want."

He chuckled and took a breath, calming himself down before he made an even bigger idiot with his rambling, "N-no it's fine, I'm fine!" He laughed and scratched the back of his neck, "It's been longer than I care t'admit since I last got a chance t'bathe. I'm gross!" He shook his head and fiddled with his metal hand, chuckling, "I'm okay, jus' not used t'lettin' people help. Not use t'people wanting t'help!" He swallowed and took his hand, giving him a lopsided grin and tilting his head to the side, "I-I would like some help..." He blushed and shuffled his foot, "I-I promise I'm okay!" He gave him a crooked grin to prove it, "I kin' show yew how t'take 'em off, in case it ever needs doin and I ain't in my head!" It was still a bit awkward, but this was Lucio, he'd be fine.
