Brows quirked up slightly. "Stalking? That's a rather ugly word...and a rather unsophisticated one as well...it conjures up images of some lanky, awkward shifty sort hiding in the bushes outside of your apartment with a shitty camera...no...I prefer to think of what we are doing as...keen professional interest. Keeping an eye on the various players and what they are doing. As Sasha says...not difficult when you are still learning how to be subtle."
She turned the expression on Sasha next. "Yes. And I'm sure you were a perfect innocent, and did or said nothing to provoke such reactions from this hellion of a girl." There would have been a flicker of sarcasm in her voice, had it not been so...flat. So devoid of feelings.
A glance back at the young woman. "What do we want? Well, we had merely wished to have a conversation with you. But you've already been proving yourself uncooperative from the very onset of this endeavor...I believe my associate might be onto something instead. Perhaps your brother will be more willing to speak with us..." The corners of her mouth flickered upwards, before looking back to Sasha.
"I imagine he will be...especially when he realizes that you are in fact not on your way to dinner with your dear family as we speak...he seems the sort who would wish to jump to your aide." She tilted her head slightly to one side. "An interesting relationship to be sure...my brother pretends I don't exist...I imagine if someone were to steal me away and end my sad little life he might well celebrate it...one less dirty little family secret." She did not say these things as though she was angry...or sad...or seeking sympathy, or even flippantly like trying to laugh it off. She said them as if she was discussing something as mundane as the weather, although the contrasts between her family and her relationship with them, and other's relationships with their families had a sort of distant but odd fascination for her.
