Pharah turned to her side, supporting her head with her palm, hoisting it up with her elbow. "Oh no, come on!" she said dismissively. "You don't have to be nobody, we can find... like a fun role for you to play, just for a bit... " she said, almost excitedly, picking herself off the bed suddenly and folding her legs to sit upright. "Just for a bit, a new Mido, think about it, it could be anyone! It could even be nobody, if you want to play-act like those assassin types... Maybe even a sniper like mom" she chirped, her mood much lighter now and her ideas limited to mission-oriented heroes.
Picking up on his lack of excitement she tried to change course and offer him a better alternative. "Or... You could be someone who is still a pacifist, maybe like a medic... or wait..." She said racking her brain to find something that was not related to overwatch since she was aware that he didn't particularly like the idea of being a soldier, she never understood why, but she had accepted it. "Maybe a sportsman of some kind, like we can get you so buff that people won't dare hurt you!" She exclaimed. "You're already getting taller, if you beef up a bit, it'll do wonders!" she continued.
He didn't seem to be following her line of thought, his words made her feel a tad bit downtrodden, but she kept up the appearance of being happy. "Yeah! I'll need all that cheer," she said cutting him off and once the world is a better place, you'll be able to be whoever you want, and no one will dare to do anything about it, then it'll be my turn to cheer you." She finished, beaming, but her smile faltered from the corners. She was doing a poor job of convincing him. "I'll er... leave you to think of something up then? Feel free to tell me about it and I'll help you work it out." She said, slowly sliding off the bed and walking out of the room.
She stopped at the threshold, just for a second "Mido, you know that this is for your own good right? You know I love you and I will do everything I can to protect you right? I know you'll understand eventually" she said staring at her brother intently before walking back to her own room.
