Ana just held her until she calmed again. "I am sorry." The words felt so hollow, so small and so no where close to enough to cover the depth of the feelings, of what had happened and been done. But in that moment they were all she had. "I had my reasons at the time, they made sense then. I don't know how much they do anymore...but we can speak of that later if you would like."
She would explain honestly everything that happened, and why she did as she did if her daughter wanted to know. But for now, after worrying so long of how she might take her mother coming back into her life, this moment was nice and she wished to hold onto it as long as she possibly could. She smiled as Reinhardt came to join them, freeing one arm to wrap around him in turn. Her little family was almost complete again and her heart swelled at once again having something she for so long thought she would never have again and had long mourned the loss of.
She pulled back slightly to better be able to speak with them as the conversation turned to returning to Chicago to collect the last missing member of their family. "That is a lovely idea." She smiled her agreement. "I will give him a call, and let him know that we are all returning so he is not caught completely off guard by it." She knew her son well enough to know that he was already frazzled right now, and adding people unexpectedly showing back up at his house while he was in that state would end poorly, no matter how well intentioned the visit.
Her attention was pulled away from her family as Pharah suddenly started addressing the bartender, demanding to know who he had been speaking with. "Fareeha." She reprimanded her gently. "I am sure it is nothing. Let the man make his phone call and we can all be on our way." Now that they had a plan there was little reason to just keep staying here in the bar.
