That Would be Enough [Lucio]

Lucio was on the edge for months and to finally have a chance to rest was a good one. He felt like he could sleep for days. He did refuse to cut off communication with Overwatch also, willing to go in on missions when needed. Luckily everyone understood their position. Now that they moved, the only ones that know where they live is Reaper, McCree, Jack and Ana. Just in case of course. Gabriel made an appearance here and there, mainly to check up on them and to continue helping Jamie with reading and writing. It was nice, but getting out of that only brought a bit more problems. Nightmares. Lucio was getting the hang of them, learning to calm down and get right back to sleep.

Michael was surprised that they wanted him to come along, but he didn't reject them either. Actually, he happily went with them. He has his own room to himself and he didn't hesitate to start making it his very own. Now it's late and everyone's fast asleep, except Jamie now. The nudge made Lucio mumble quietly in Portuguese, moving to lay on his back with a yawn. With a sleepy smile, he is still fast asleep. Until Jamie tickles his nose. Lucio protested lazily, sniffling as he turns his head away to let out a tiny sneeze. "Mm, hello to you too," Lucio grumbled, turning his head again to look at the other with a sleepy smile. "Are you alright?" He can't help but to worry, knowing that Jamie's nightmares have become more frequent and he wants to do his best to help.

Jamison felt immediate guilt at waking Lucio up when he saw his sleepy expression, fidgeting a little bit as he tried to think of what to say, "I...Y-yeh..." It was clear by her nervous expression that he wasn't entirely fine, but it wasn't fair to keep Lucio up like this, and after a moment he settled back down beside him, "Jus'...Nightmares." reluctantly admitted at last, looking guilty, "sorry fer wakin' yew up..." He glanced to the side, it really wasn't fair, Lucio deserved to rest rather than having to deal with his mess, this was why they'd left in the first place, to rest, "I jus'...Needed t'make sure this was all still real..." It was no secret that his grip on reality was sometimes shaky and weak, and this reality felt too good to be true, even now.

After a moment he finally laid back beside him, wrapping his arm around him and pressing his nose into his neck, frowning, "I jus' want peace...But my brain is scarier than ever..." He couldn't help a smile though, looking up at him, "but I am happy...Never thought I'd ever make it this far...Was pretty sure I's gonna die before I ever got t'live like this." He was an internationally wanted criminal living a domestic lifestyle, it would be a comedy if it wasn't so tragic at times, he sighed softly and shook his head, "sorry fer complainin'...I'm jus' bein' a big baby..."

Nightmares. The both of them have been having a lot of those since they moved. Lucio chuckled softly as he moves closer to the other, cuddling close with a low noise. "Hey, it's alright. I don't mind you waking me up if you need me," he'll say softly, using his free hand to rub his eyes gently. "And don't worry, I'm in the same position as you are. I still think it's all a dream and I'm still in Dorado somewhere. Though I'm glad I'm slowly getting my memories back and I'm happy that we're here. Yeah it's the best I could do but it's better than nothing." With that, Lucio smiled at the closeness and at the touch, laughing softly.

"Hey, it's alright. It'll take us a while to actually calm down and rest fully." Lucio then moved a bit so he can face Jamie better, leaning in to press a small kiss to the other's cheek. "I'm glad that you're happy." He then rolled his eyes as he curls up slightly. "You can complain all you want, and I'll listen, and you're not a baby," he mumbled with a small laugh. "You have every right to complain."

Jamison relaxed visibly when Lucio came closer, wrapping his arm around him tightly, "I jus' feel bad...Yew've earned yer rest an' I hate takin' that from yew..." After a moment he gave him a gentle tug to pull him onto his chest, running his fingers over his back and letting out a content sigh, "yeh...Sometimes I wake up here an' it's a shock..." He smiled down at him and took his chin to pull him into a gentle kiss, "but I'm content fer th'first time in my life..." He laughed softly and ran a hand through his hair, "I never thought I'd live t'see thirty...Much less settle down like this...I feel..." He paused, collecting his thoughts better, "it's like I'm a normal person fer once...Like I'm still me but...everything is quiet."

He couldn't help his grin when Lucio kissed his cheek like that, wrapping his arm around him to squeeze him tight, "we'll get there, th'nightmares'll fade and we'll get through it." He sighed softly and closed his eyes, "nothin' can take yew from me now, nothin's takin' my fam'ly away from me again." He looked his face over again with a smile and chuckled, "we oughts do somethin' t'morrow...Dunno wot...Maybe go into town?" It would be the first outing they'd had since moving, a nice way to start off this new chapter, he thought.

"Oh Jamie, you're funny, man. I don't mind being woken up if you need me, promise," he'll say, moving to lay on the other when instructed to. Lucio shifted a bit to get more comfortable, relaxing more under the touches with a brighter smile. "Yeah, honestly I didn't think I would be at this point for a long time. Always on the move and all that. It's different but real nice." Lucio blushed softly at the kiss before returning it with a tiny laugh, unable to help but to feel pretty awesome that he made Jamie so happy. He managed to glue together a broken man. "It is quiet but it's perfect. A big change in what I already got used to but it's really nice."

Lucio let out another laugh at the tight squeeze, stealing a quick kiss from the other. "We've been through hell countless of times already and made it out. These nightmares won't be too bad." Once he mentioned family, the blush on Lucio's face deepened while that smile grew more. "Family, huh? Cute. I like that. Nothing is going to tear us apart. We're too strong and stubborn to let anything ruin it." Lucio hummed as he moves his hand to rest it on Jamie's cheek, lightly rubbing the skin with his thumb. "Whatever you want. Maybe we can get more stuff for the house, especially things you and Michael would like. It'll be fun." The outing sounds fun already and Lucio is all for it.

Jamison chuckled softly and ran a hand over his face, looking more relieved to hear that, "thas' good, same fer you too, a'ight?" He moved his arm to wrap around him, holding him tight, "it is nice." He laughed softly and looked thoughtful, smirking, "It's funny, eh? Internationally wanted criminal settlin' down an' livin' th'domestic life...But I'm glad I can live it with yew." He let out a content sigh and closed his eyes, "every bad thing that's happened in my life was worth it if this is what it led to." He would live every awful experience a million times over if it meant that every time he could end up back here.

He laughed at the kiss and growled softly, reaching his hand to play with the man's hair, "Yeh, we've earned our happy endin', don'tcha think?" Sure they hadn't fought and served as long as Jack and them had, but they' suffered and fought before ever joining Overwatch, they deserved to juse be relatively normal for a change. He leaned into Lucio's hand and smiled at him, nodding, "Right! We still have a couple'a rooms that ain't been decorated yet, might be fun t'look around fer some stuff!" It felt so weird furniture shopping, but everyday normal things like that were a blast for someone who was used to having nothing to call his own.

"Of course," Lucio replied, moving a bit to rest his chin on the other's chest. "Mm, an international criminal who is currently getting his records wiped out because of a certain little musician," he'll say with a smile. "I wanted it to be a surprise but might as well tell you now." Lucio then sighed as he moves to lightly hide his face into Jamie's neck with that same bright smile. "You're sweet, even though I would like for you not to keep getting hurt over and over." That's what he hates the most. When Jamie gets hurt.

"Yeah, we did deserve it," he'll agree as he lets out a content noise at the hair playing, closing his eyes contently for a moment before opening them again. Lucio laughed softly at the other's excitement as he lightly boops the other's nose playfully. "And you get to pick everything." What they don't know is that someone is lurking around with a small remote and an electronic snake. Michael sat on the other side of the bedroom door, a rather amused expression on his face as he decided to test out his little project.

He'll set the snake down on the floor quietly, turning his gaze to the remote before directing the small robot under the door and into the bedroom. Michael can't help but to be excited, watching through the small screen so he can direct the snake in the right direction. The snake then slithered up onto the blankets, slipping under one to go into hiding before inching closer and closer.

Jamison's eyes widened at those words and a large grin broke his face, "wot really?!" He couldn't help the excited quivering in his voice as he took his cheek and kissed him, "Lucio yer one inna million!" He chuckled and let out a soft breath, giving him a content smile as he brushed his hand over the skin of his cheek, "we wont have t'worry anymore...Hooley dooley...We kin go anywhere an' not have t'worry..." That was a freedom he never thought he would have again, the freedom to go anywhere without having to fear being caught and leaving his family behind.

He gave a soft laugh, "no more gettin' hurt..." He paused, then cleared his throat, "well...I guess I can't entirely promise that..." He snickered and stuck his tongue out at him, "but no more losing body parts, eh?" He supposed even that wasn't a guarantee, old habits died hard and he'd always been more of a danger to himself than other people.

He was about to open his mouth to respond when he felt a tickle against his leg, smirking at Lucio, "yew ticklin' me leg, mate?"

Lucio bursted out laughing softly before returning the kiss with a hum. "Really. I have connections and so I used them to my advantage. Now you don't have to worry," he'll say as he leans into Jamie's hand with a sigh. How cute. "Yeah, we can go anywhere we want now and no one will think twice anymore." Lucio then smiled more, rolling his eyes before laughing more. "Yeah, don't take off anymore limbs alright? You're fine just the way you are. Losing anything more will drive me crazy so be at least a tiny bit more careful." Seeing Jamie hurt drives him crazy, honestly.

At the question, he'll raise an eyebrow before shaking his head. "No, but I got something better in mind," he'll reply with a smirk of his own but then he'll pause as he feels something tickle his leg also. Huh. Lucio moved to sit up a bit to nudge the blanket off to the side so he can see what's tickling them. What he saw wasn't expected and he'll practically screech as he moves to jump away from the snake, falling off the bed with a huff.

Michael tried his best not to laugh as he controls the snake, making it as realistic as possible.

Jamison grinned wide at that laughter and ran his hand over his cheek, "a'ight, mate, I'll be a tiny bit more careful fer yew." There was a soft blush on his cheeks at Lucio's words and his smirk, and he narrowed his eyes, "hehe, oh yeh?" He didn't get to find out what exactly Lucio meant when he spotted the snake, more surprised with the visceral reaction from Lucio than the reptile itself, but then again he was more than a little used to snakes. He grunted to sit up and peep over the side of the bed at Lucio, "have a safe trip?" He snickered before turning his attention back to the reptile.

"Hmmm." Odd that a snake wouldn't slither away as fast as possible, he leaned down to inspect it before snorting, "I think...We're not alone." He smirked as he glanced towards the door, "yew kin come out now ye little shit!" There was an affectionate tone in his voice as he waited for an answer, scooting to the edge of the bed to hold out his hand for Lucio, "y'okay?"

Lucio didn't move from his position on the floor, glaring at the ceiling for a moment and then at Jamie before laughing softly. "Totally," he'll answer between laughs as he sits up a bit. "I'll bring back some stuff from the trip," he'll add as he moves to take Jamie's hand before climbing back onto the bed. "I'm good." The snake became completely still, and Lucio turn his eyes to the door, where there was laughter coming from the other side. Michael then got up from his spot, opening the door just enough to poke his head through. He couldn't help but to smile as he holds out the small remote he used.

"Got ya good," he'll say as he manages to calm himself down, walking more into the room with a bright smile. "Do you guys like it though? It's my own project that I threw together." Michael looked pretty damn proud of himself as he walks over to the bed to take the robotic snake, looking it over. "Tried to make it as realistic as possible, but I'm glad it did its job." Lucio huffed softly but he can't help but to be amazed at the little contraption.

Jamison grinned wide at the expression that crossed his face, laughing as he helped him back up on the bed, "cool! But yer th'only souvenir I need." He gave a wink as he said this, snickering at his own lame pickup line. He glance up when he heard the laughter coming from behind the door, smirking with an amused expression, "Mhm. Thought so." He laughed when Michael poked his head into the room, mocking a displeased face, or trying to, before breaking into giggles again, "ya little shit." Though he couldn't help but be impressed as he looked over the snake.

He glanced up when he walked into the room and chuckled, "yew got Lucio, gonna take more'n that t'get me! I'm Australian, not much out there that kin scare me, mate." He sounded proud of this, but his tone became appreciative as he admired the snake, "hooley dooley though, this is some impressive handiwork, Mich!" He chuckled and leaned in close to look it over, "this is real realistic, Mich! Yew gotta knack for this!" He grinned at him, "yew know they gotta sorta...Like art festival in town every month...Oughta try an' sell little things like this!" He grinned wide, "could make some kids real happy!"

Lucio couldn't help but to laugh at that pickup line, gently nudging the other in response to it. "You're cute," he'll mumble in response with a smile, moving his hand to rub the back of his neck. He watched Michael for a moment, rolling his eyes again as he moves to get comfortable, looking at the snake with an impressed look on his face. "Hey now, you guys were the perfect test subjects for it. I'm just glad it worked to my expectations," Michael responded as he walks closer to sit on the edge of the bed. "Sorry for disturbing anything but I really wanted to try it out."

Though once Jamie started complimenting his work, Michael's eyes widened and he couldn't help but to smile brightly. "Really? Oh boy! I should find out when the next art festival is and I'll show my snake there. Maybe make a couple more so people can buy some."

"You should, people will love them," Lucio said as he rests his head against Jamie's shoulder with a smile and Michael only got excited at the idea.

"You guys can keep that one," Mich said, laying the remote on the bed before getting onto his feet. "Thanks, dads!" He said as he turns to leave the room before looking back. "Oh, maybe I'll make dogs too! Maybe I can get them to be like service dogs but cheaper for people who can't afford them." Lucio only smiled more with a thumbs up and a nod. Michael can't help but to just be so excited, the fans under everything started whirling.
