The Longing for Escape {Junkrat}

"Uhm, no," Lucio admitted softly as he keeps his gaze on the water before looking up at Jamie again. He then continued to smile happily at the idea. "I'm excited! It'll be so fun. I can't wait to see everything. Though what storms? Would it hurt us?" Lucio asked softly with a small tilt of his head. Even if there were storms or not, he's still excited to see everything the world has to offer. He doesn't even care what happens. He just wants to see what he has been missing out on. Lucio is also glad to have a friend to do this all with.

The nudge made him laugh softly as he watches Jamie with a curious look. Though, he'll squeak once he suddenly strikes down to get a fish with the hook with a frown. Okay, he can do this. Lucio nodded as he looks down at the water again. He can do this. Lucio took a deep breath before leaning down to grab another fish, holding onto the tail with a frightened expression. He'll squeak as he continues to hold onto the fish, looking at Jamie with a frown and a confused expression.

Jamison chuckled and rested a hand on his shoulder when he seemed to be fretting storms, grinning, "Ah thunderstorms, mate, good ol' fashioned squalls!" He laughed and patted his shoulder, "I've weathered plenty of 'em though, ain't sunk yet!" He gave a gentle nudge and gave him a reassuring smile, "I'll teach yew how t'swim, eh?" If he knew how to swim and be confident in the water, he wouldn't have anything to fear during storms, it paid to be a confident swimmer, "ye'll take t'the waters like'a fish when I'm done with yeh!"

Jamison stood back with his own catch as he watched Lucio making his second attempt, grinning wide when he pulled up his own, "Perfect!" He chuckled at the lost expression and came close, taking the fish with his other hand and holding onto it, "now we both got dinner, eh?" He chuckled, "lets get back t'camp an' cook these." He laughed as he waded out of the water to lead the back to camp.

"Oh, I like thunderstorms. It's nice sometimes," Lucio responded with a small chuckle before perking up at the offer to teach him how to swim. "You would teach me? Really? You're so kind, offering me a lot of things already. It's mighty sweet," he'll say softly with a tiny smile, looking off to the side for a moment. Though he'll perk up once the water was actually getting a bit too cold for his liking, so he'll make his way out of the water with the fish in hand. Though he'll let Jamie take the fish as he stands there and waits, moving to follow him back to the camp that the man had set up. "Well, how do you cook fish anyway? Do you just.. toss them in the fire? What about spices and all that?" Lucio asked with a small tilt. So many questions.

Jamison chuckled as he glanced at the man, shaking his head, "yeh but a squall ain't no ordinary thunderstorm." He looked thoughtful as the pair made their way back to camp, carrying both fish by the tails now, "ye've never seen so uch wind an' rain, an' th'thunder an' lightnin' can be dangerous." He nodded, glancing back at him as he spotted the firelight of the camp coming into view, "th'boat rocks like it might tip. But my vessel is sturdy, she ain't never failed me." He sounded plenty sure of this, chuckling as he settled back by the fire to stick the fish on the ends of the sharpened sticks he used for cooking spits, "spices? When I gottem, those can be hard t'come by sometimes, merchants keep their spices pinched up tight." He chuckled as he stuck the sticks into the ground to hold the fish over the fire, "I usually jus' cook em' an' eat em' like that1"
