Dance with the Devil {Elise/Los Muertos/Junkrat}

"Sir, I have eyes on the target." A Los Muertos goon radioed in to where El Craneo sat atop his throne. "We'll follow and keep eyes." The signal cut out as the goon began to follow behind the performer. The leader of Los Muertos rose and cracked his neck.

"Excellent. Perhaps it's time to show Senor Lucio how we do things in Dorado." He said, waving a hand to signal the men he had with him to disperse into the city. "Time to turn off the lights." He said, pulling a switch and plunging the city into darkness. Several of the people around Lucio were shown to be covered with the glowing skeletal paint signifying their membership in Los Muertos as civilians screamed and ran, several of the gang members surrounded Lucio and began beating him with various blunt objects.

Lucio started to whistle softly, tapping his fingers against the metal of his legs until he froze in place at the sudden darkness. "Oh no," he'll grumble, looking around frantically until someone hits him across the face. Oh no, indeed. "H-Hey!" Lucio growled out, rubbing the side of his face as he glares at the men who crowded around him. Oh boy, he's in trouble. The musician straightened up as he tries his best to defend himself against the group, but the more that had weapons, the more frustrating it was to keep himself up. These guys know what they're doing and he'll continue trying to fight them off.

Though after a couple of more blows, he'll stop before falling to his knees, tired and hurt. "Alright! I give, what do you guys want?"

Once he began to beg, the crowd around Lucio parted and a woman covered in shimmering green paint in a scale pattern slowly sauntered up to him. "Welcome to Dorado." She said before kissing Lucio and injecting him with some sort of sedative.

When he awoke, Lucio would find himself tied to a chair. "Excellent, you're awake." A voice echoed through the darkness. A white skull came into view followed by the man wearing it. "I see my men did their jobs correct." El Craneo said, pulling out his ornate dagger. "Just be lucky my associates wish to keep you alive." He leaned in, getting close, running the dagger along Lucio's cheek, leaving a cut deep enough to draw a bit of blood. "Didn't your teammates warn you about me? Or did they and you were just stupid enough to think coming here was a good idea."

Lucio perked up when a woman appeared, frowning and making a protested noise at the kiss before hissing at the injection.p, passing out seconds later.

With a tired groan, Lucio opened his eyes before looking around with a frightened expression. The voice got his attention as he looks up to see El Craneo there before glancing at the dagger. "What do you want from me?" Lucio asked softly, struggling a bit against the ropes before wincing at the cut on his face. "I was here to do a concert, that's all. I-I don't want any trouble j-just let me go. I won't say anything to anyone, please." Lucio continued as he leans away from the dagger a bit.

"You not wanting to speak will be most unfortunate. For you." Another voice sounded from the side, as a lean, well dressed blonde woman with weirdly dead eyes stepped into view.

She looked to El Craneo. "Yes, your men did their jobs correctly. Thank you. But now...I will speak with him. Please...stop...damaging him." Her voice was devoid of emotion, yet still managed to carry the implication of boredom and mild annoyance along with it, perhaps just the way she carried herself.

"You, my dear, are merely a means to an ends." She addressed Lucio next, walking closer. "Your friends are more...cautious...and are harder to just take. You, however, are so blithely unaware of the dangers of the world around you...you made it all too easy." She paused, tilting her head to one side. "Tell me about your friend. One Mister Jamison Fawkes."

Wait, what? Lucio turned his gaze to the female who entered the room, getting more anxious and nervous about being in this situation. "Jamie? Why do you want to know?" Lucio asked, trying his best to try and make himself look big and threatening, but it'll fail very fast. "I'm not going to say anything. You were the ones that hurt him and my friend. He has nothing you want and I would like if you left us alone," he'll add, eyes narrowing as he looks to the side and away from the other people.

El Craneo nodded and stepped away, sheathing his dagger. "Very well, though I expect what I was promised in our bargain." He told her as he walked towards the door. He knocked on it and a massive man entered the room. "El Rhionceronte will stand guard, just to be safe." The leader of Los Muertos chuckled as the massive man snorted and cracked his knuckles. "Have fun with him." El Craneo said, shutting the door.

"You will get what you are promised." She answered the man as he turned to leave. She looked up at the tall man without interest, then back to her victim.

"You see, that is where you are wrong. Your friend has something we are most interested in, and I intend to not fail here were others have." She circled around the chair, looking him over.

"If you are attempting to intimidate or impress me with your bravado, you have failed. If you feel as though you might appeal to my sympathy or better nature, you will find I do not have one."

She circled in front of him again. "What you will find I possess, however, is endless time and boundless patience. You can either cooperate with me...or I will merely outlast you until you do. It will go much easier for you if you decide to simply cooperate and not drag out this little game any longer then it has to...I do not draw pleasure from the pain of others and as such will not resort to such measures unless they are proven necessary." She said all of this as though it was some manner of memorized speech, kept in the back of her head for just such occasions.

Lucio stayed silent, watching the woman closely and carefully. "I have nothing to say to you or to anyone here. What you want to know, I don't have the answers," he'll reply, struggling a bit to try and still get free but he's tied too tightly to the chair to even make a difference. "I have just as much patience as you do, trust me, and I don't know what you guys want with Jamison but you're not getting anything about him from me, no matter what." Yeah, he's going to be extremely stubborn even though it probably isn't a wise decision. Whatever they want, they'll have to beat it out of him.

She shook her head, why did everyone want to take it this way? They all watched far too many movies, they seemed to think this was brave and heroic, not foolish and pointless.

"Why would you protect this man?" She asked, turning back to him. She pulled a tabloid out of seemingly the thin air, flashing the cover that showed him and Jamison together. "This man...this criminal, this terrorist...you honestly believe he genuinely cares about you?" She flipped the page around to look at it, before tossing it aside.

"Why put yourself through this for a man like that?" She circled closer. "He doesn't care about you...he's not capable of it. I know. I know how his mind works." She lowered her voice, inches from him as she spoke into his ear.

He continued to watch the other carefully, biting the bottom of his lips before glancing at that tabloid. Lucio couldn't help a tiny smile that appeared on his face but the questions made him tense up. "I love him, that's why," he answered the first question easily as he struggles a bit more again with a low growl. "Jamie does care, I know he does. He's not a criminal anymore or anything." Lucio continued softly, looking to the side as she got close. "He does care and he is capable of it." Lucio will refuse to believe otherwise.

"You love him. He doesn't love you." She answered simply. The insistence that the other wasn't a criminal any longer brought a short, humorless laugh.

"A man capable of the atrocities he's committed, of committing them and walking away without issue...isn't capable of feeling things like a normal person." She walked from behind him, looking him in the face again.

"It's acting. We learn to mimic your emotions, we *have* to to survive in your world. But that doesn't mean we feel them. It's a game. An act." Her face shifted, there was nearly a moment, a click, where the emotion came on, and she smiled in a genuine way down at him. "I can say I'm so happy to see you, that you're such a dear friend." Her expression and emotion shifted again, giving him a seductive look as she knelt down beside him. "Or say that I love you...that I'm attracted to you." She looked up at him for a moment, before the expression 'clicked' back off and she gave him another dead-eyed look. "But none of it is real. And as soon as he's gotten what he wants from you...he'll be gone again." She said, standing up, peering down at him.

"Really, you've honestly believed him? All the time?" She continued to poke, having picked up on the side-long glances, his tension at the subject. "There's never been a moment you've looked at him and thought...I don't know that he means that?"

Lucio stayed silent, biting down on his bottom lip again. "He does love me. Once he knows that I'm here, he'll come get me right away, just you wait and see." He'll sigh as he decided to stop struggling against the ropes, knowing for sure that he's stuck there. "Look, I know he has done some things and all that but he is capable of feeling love and all that. He would have to be one hell of an awesome actor for me to believe otherwise." However, once the other demonstrated how easy it was for her to change emotions and her expression which made him frown. "No, you're lying. It is real and I have nothing he could possibly want from me material wise." Lucio said as he keeps his eyes on the woman.

He then nodded at the question, narrowing his eyes. "I do believe him and.." a pause. Lucio stopped as he turns his gaze to the floor. "I do believe him and no. I've never thought that. I know he means everything he tells me."
