For the first time that night, she couldn't suppress the scowl that rose, unbidden, to her lips. "You're insufferable." She muttered, shaking her head slightly. Cheeky son of a bitch. Actually no, Mrs. Bishop was rather nice. Quinn had no idea how she managed to have this thing as a son. As she pulled away from him, she shoved him back ever so lightly. Enough so he'd feel it, not enough so he'd stumble. She turned away from him. Shame. That's why her cheeks heated up. Shame that he'd gotten the better of her, not because she was a bit flustered from the way he said the word 'you' along with that ridiculous smile of his. She had begun to stride away, the image of pride in her heeled boots clicking against the floor. She wasn't very surprised that he followed along.

She glanced back, smile lingering on her lips. "And wasn't that enough for you, Mr. Bishop? Unless you feel like joining me for another?" She winked back at him, before turning to head towards the small bar. This was the perfect revenge for the stupid dance. Why would he want to be seen having a drink together? That's where people flirted, made jokes, had fun. She never had fun with Vincent. She just wanted him to come along to make fun of HIM, yeah, that seemed about right. She leaning against the counter, violet eyes flickering towards the hired bartender. "A glass of champagne would be lovely." Suddenly she was glad they didn't live in the States. Prohibition seemed so utterly dreadful, and she definitely needed a drink right now. Maybe it'd make this a bit more bearable.
