Like a shadow the figure moved through the quiet night, the den of the Shimada clan was his goal, deep within was the sanctuary. That is where he was going, dressed in black traditional cloth he looked the part for an assassin, well apart from the wolf pelt he used as a hood. He scaled a wall and pulled back the string of his bow, one beat and he downed the man where no one would see him. Then he was off again.
Today was a special date, and he'd brought a long a "friend" to help with the infiltration. What he'd told Talon they would be collecting was anyone guess as he would be bringing nothing back. This was not a mission for them anyway, this was a mission for himself. It was an Atonement. Today marked another year anniversary of his brothers death. While he had met him once since, he still considered him dead, as what he knew now was no man just a machine. It sickened Hanzo to even glance at him. So he pressed his bow against the neck of a guard watching as he struggled and fell unconscious.
It was almost second nature to him at this point slipping into this place. It would be a little different with the added help, he supposed they wanted assurance he wasn't about to go AWOL when they told him he had to bring someone along. Well it'd at the very least been an easy choice, Reaper /understood/ his anger, his reasoning. He'd made a similar decision before. It made him far more bearable than most others who looked at him like he was mad.
Of course he wasn't, he'd done what honor required, and then realizing how it had felt he'd left the Shimada clan, a self-imposed exile. Even if Genji were alive, it didn't change the fact that Hanzo had no home here to return to, and he had no desire to play hero. Genji claimed he'd found inner peace and forgiveness, Hanzo wanted neither.
He downed another guard taking a quick look around himself as he dropped to the floor of the shrine. It always looked the same.
