Fighting Death(Rat, Hansell)

Ansell couldn't win this fight. He could hear El Craneo over all the chaos, all his senses heightened. He couldn't fall Buckshot again, he let out a roar as he leaped from shoulder to shoulder; climbing over the roof top. He went in for a stab at El Craneo, eyes full of wild fury, his visor's night vision overwhelmed by a bright light; it flickered off for the briefest moment, what was that? Some kind of angel? That suit looked familiar. "Mercy?" He asked softly in Awe, and then his momentum was cut short, something had punched through his stomach and his spine; stuck out a few inches the black blade glistened with blood. He was dropped on the ground.

"No, I've no idea the meaning of that word," said the figure, that stood like a mechanized angel. "Do not kill the rat, maim it, like his friend. We don't want Martyrs out of animals. These creatures rage against the light, let them fester in sin." The voice was deep, almost mechanical. "The Overwatch spirit will break like their little toys will break."

Junkrat's eyes were wide when he was thrown in front of El Craneo, his breathing sped up, "N-no idea what yer--hlck.." He winced when he was grabbed by the neck and lifted, wiggling in his grip, "ff-fuck fuck fuck...." He turned his wide eyes to the statue and looked frantic, "wot issat?!" He was about to say more when he heard Ansell's roar, feeling hope for half a second, until he saw that bright white light.

When he was able to see clearly again, he didn't hear a peep from Ansell, but he caught sight of the man with the black blade, struggling in Craneo's grip as he heard the thing's words, "Shit....Shit....Ansell?!" This was bad, this was very bad.

El Craneo looked at the thing that had just stabbed Ansell and chuckled. "On what authority are you saying this?" He said as he pushed the knife closer.

"Mine." Tamara said, stepping into the power plant with her arms behind her back. "I don't want them dead because I want them to know just how useless they are." She said, looking at all three Overwatch agents and smirking. "Now, we've made a deal, and it seems you've found your part." She pulled out a phone and tapped a button. "The amount offered has just been transferred to the account you asked for. We'll be taking the God AI from here." Talon soldier swarmed into the power plant and began to extract the statue. El Craneo, not willing to leave Junk Rat unharmed plunged the knife into his side and removed it.

"I stabbed nothing lethal, you'll recover." He said as he tossed Junkrat aside and looked at Tamara. "Pleasure doing business with you again." He said, gathering up his men and vanishing into the night.

"Well, Overwatch, I want you to remember what you saw here today, tell Morrison and the rest of them that it's futile. Come along Gabriel, we need to set Santa Muerte up for the next phase." She said to her angel as she led her men, and the God AI, out of the plant. Once the Talon agents were gone, a new figure entered the power plant, sneakily.

"Wow...they really did a number on you. I suppose I can lend a hand to you though." Agent Smith said, tending to Ansell and Junkrat's wounds. He glanced over at Hush, still slumped against a crate, and turned back to the two that were seriously wounded. "Seeing as it looks like you Overwatch folks really need the help..."

Gabriel, Ansell would remember that, tell the fish...Gabriel is...is...he was falling out of conciousness, he couldn't feel his legs. A voice, he didn't recognize it, his knife. Where is his knife? Are they gone, he heard the foot steps of that thing as it walked away. They would stick with him, it's voice, it's name, it's appearance. Seared into his brain. "Who?" He gasped. He could only sort of feel the pain, he knew it should hurt that he should be screaming...but it was sort of weird numbness. Oh god. "Legs. Feel...can't?" He had his hands on the wound, trying to keep it from bleeding too much.

"Buck...shot...call; transport. Whiskey." It was hard to speak with the panic, was he dying?

Junkrat was struggling in Craneo's grip, looking panicked as even more people showed up, Talon agents?! He didn't know what they were talking about, God AI? Was that what the statue was? He looked between the group helplessly as they spoke, "We're gonna find yew fucks." He was about to throw more threats when he felt Craneo's knife sink into his side, causing a howl of pain, grabbing his side when he was thrown to the ground. He didn't have time to ruminate on his own injury though, sitting up and glancing around for Ansell.

When he saw him he pulled himself over to the man, grabbing his hand, "I'm s-so sorry...I'm so sorry, mate..." He glanced over at the other man that approached, looking up at him, "who are you?!" He sounded defensive, reaching to his communicator to call for transport, looking at the man, "d-don't worry bout me....Get him..."

Hush slowly awoke to the sound of a ship leaving. "Wha..." He said, sitting up as he saw the aftermath. Drawing his side arm he levelled it at the agent. "Who the hell are you? Step away from my agent." He said, the other man turned, drawing a pistol of his own.

"Listen here, if it weren't for me the rest of your team won't make it out of this alive. Plus, I'm the only person on the planet outside of Talon that knows how to get to their base. So put down the gun and let me work." Hush held firm for a few seconds before sighing and holstering his pistol as Agent Smith continued to patch up Junkrat. Hush joined in and went to work on Ansell. "Swap, this one's wounds aren't as bad." Hush nodded and move as Agent Smith began to tend to Ansell and Hush worked on Junkrat.

"Sorry Rat, it wasn't supposed to go this way..." Hush muttered to the Australian. "We'll beat them..."

Ansell gripped Junkrats hand hard, shaking his head quickly. "Okay...haha...Okay;" he said in brief little gasps, it was okay, he'd known the risks well as anyone else, he could have done more surely. It wasn't Jamison's fault he was here, he'd made a stupid decision on instinct it happened. "okay...Buckshot..." He shudered, his body knew there was something wrong, but he couldn't feel much of it.

"Like...leg," He vaguely pointed towards the peg leg. Just like that, He'd recover, he was tough; they both were. "Tough."

Junkrat was trying his best to listen to the men who were helping them, Hush had come around and seemed to be brandishing his weapon at...He still didn't know who this other man was...He didn't seem to have ill intent. Their words were more or less drowned out, his own pain was more or less drowned out, he was focusing hard on Ansell, only paying attention to the others when he heard Hush speak, "sure...Sure we will..." He tried to give him a confident smirk before turning back to Ansell.

He'd asked Ansell to come, he knew what they were dealing with coming into this, he knew Los Muertos and he still brought Ansell. He felt tears well up in his eyes when Ansell struggled to make him feel better, "y-yew better not fucin' die Ansell. I wont forgive yew." He squeezed his hand in return, "I lost yew once I ain't gonna do it again." He gave a laugh when he indicated his leg, wincing, "tougher'n anyone else here, eh? Takes more'n a few freaks t'kill us."
